Despite the fact that he has been crazy about music since he was a child and was raised in the midst of a family of good musicians, Thiago - also known as Big T - was never really interested in learning how to play an instrument. Nevertheless, this Brazilian DJ from Sao Paolo is a good collector who has always felt the need to unearth the fruit of his research and "crate digging".
Dj Big T is a tall Hip-Hop and Drumandbass DJ living now in Switzerland and is one of the resident Dj at Cirküs doing lounge intellectual (funk, soul, jazz, brazilian beats, oldschool hip-hop,?) sets. He was the Dj of Loquaz, a famous Salvadorian Rap group and is also the resident Dj and one of the organizers of the Jump Up parties (main drumandbass and Rap parties in Bahia).
He already performances alongside dj's like Marky, Patife, Bungle, Calibre, Utah Jazz, Makoto, Doc Scott, Theego and much more!

Sylvain aka Ziloub played many styles as electro, techno, jungle and breakbeat before met in 1999 one of the most active crew for the drumandbass scene in France at Paris : Audiovenum, which he really started to become active on this scene.
He gets recognition and multiplies bookings at Paris (?Massive? at the Rex Club, ?Frenezik? at the Triptyque and the Glaz?art, ?Flavor Of The Month? at the Batofar, ?Peace? at the Cithea, the ?Santa Crew? parties at the Nouveau Casino, and even the legendary ?I Love Jungle? gig), as others city in France.
Since 3 years, he also got bookings in others countries around the world, like at Mexico, Ireland, Poland and Switzerland.
He is the creator of the webradio Beatbreakerz.com since 2005, and organized and hosted several live drumandbass show with many known artists of this scene.
His dj sets gave him the opportunity to play alongside many internationals and locals drumandbass artists of this scene like High Contrast, Calibre, Utah Jazz, Danny Byrd, Bungle, Pitch-In (Dirtyphonics), J-Majik, Elisa Do Brasil, Tha Trickaz, Science, Big Red, Djam, Otis, Taiwan MC, Miss Drop, FX909, Chacal 900, T-Rex, La Pieuvre, Anakyne, Kolsik, Luxy, Mousschemist, DJ Nem, MC Runigga, Francky Brown, Monolythe, Mama Lü, Lord Bitum...

Some news from the Labs

Avant toutes choses, on espère que l’année 2010 a bien démarré pour vous, et que vous et vos projets vous portez bien !
En ce qui nous concerne, après une année 2009 bien chargée, un maxi vinyle 12 '' de Led Pierz dans les bacs et nos premières sorties numériques (ARX002D - Nekochan et ARX003D – Led Piperz) disponibles sur les meilleures plateformes de ventes, nous sommes plus que jamais parés à vous fournir encore votre dose régulière de bass music !

2010 a commencée sur les chapeaux de roues avec, en janvier,  la sortie de l'E.P. ARX005D 'Hell yeah' EP, un hollandais qui n'a rien à envier à ses contemporains britanniques, niveau qualité et puissance de production (on vous recommande d'ailleurs fortement d'y jeter une oreille....si ce n'est déjà fait).

ARX004 - NEKOCHAN - MINIMAL BUMP 12"
Le premier 12'' vinyle de Nekochan  'Minimal Bump EP' est enfin disponible !!!



Cet EP comprend trois tueries susceptibles d'offrir de nouvelles perspectives à la bass music.
En face A, Minimal Bump, titre-phare de cette sortie, est déjà sur la playlist de l'émission 'BBC experimental' de Mary-Anne Hobbs, une track puissante qui se situe entre techno, break et dubstep, avantagée par une production massive et efficace, qui a déjà commencé à exploser les dance-floors de France et d’Europe…
En face B, Vahiné - déjà disponible en digital dans ARX002D - propose un voyage rafraîchissant dans un style plus léger et atmosphérique, dans l’esprit de Scuba ou Martyn…tandis que Bombine dévoile une tout autre facette des inspirations de la jeune productrice....profonde et émotionnelle.

ARX006D - HUBWAR - BACK FROM THE SHADOWS EP
Hubwar's First EP OUT NOW !



Egalement disponible dès maintenant, le premier E.P. numérique d'Hubwar  - un producteur et organisateur de soirées qui est devenu en quelques temps le fer de lance du dubstep dans le sud de la France - propose une vision plus 'organique'.
Sur fond de flutes et de percussions, l'ambiance sonore nocturne de  Back from the Shadows nous plonge au coeur d'une forêt mystique pour un rite initiatique sur fond de bass music. Tandis que sur HubWarped Mind, c'est un imparable gimmick rave qui s'insinue immédiatement dans l'oreille interne de l'auditeur qui en fait un indispensable pour le dancefloor...à ne pas rater !!!
